Week 2 (w/c 7 Jan): Sydney, Auckland, Hobart, Australian Open Qualifying, World Tennis Challenge

With one week to go until the Australian Open, all of the tour events are down under and qualifying gets underway.

Sydney

ATP 250 and WTA Premier, Eurosport and BT Sport

Sadly Kyle Edmund had to withdraw from the Sydney International and Johanna Konta retired with an injury during qualifying on Sunday.

Coverage of this combined event is across Eurosport for the ATP matches and BT Sport for the WTA.

Cam Norrie  has been given a main draw wildcard at the ASB Classic, which gets underway on Monday.

There’s no television coverage of this tournament in the UK, matches will be on Tennis TV only.


Hobart

WTA International, BT Sport

Heather Watson made the semi-finals of the 2018 Hobart International.

Heather Watson came through qualifying at the Hobart International, an event she won in 2015 and was a semi-finalist at last year.

Australian Open qualifying

Grand Slam, Eurosport

There are six Brits competing in qualifying for the Australian Open. James WardDan EvansJay ClarkeHarriet DartGabriella Taylor, and Katie Swan will all be hoping to get a spot in the main draw.

Eurosport Player will have live multi-court coverage every night from 23:00 so you should be able to catch all six in their matches.
