Week 9 (w/c 25 Feb): Acapulco, Dubai, Sao Paulo

A round up of this week’s tennis action and where to watch it all.

ATP 500 and WTA International

We start with a mixed event, the Abierto Mexicao, or Mexican Open.

This is the biggest event this week, and Cameron Norrie, Johanna Konta and Katie Boulter are competing in the main draw. Katie Swan failed to qualify here at the weekend.

We also have Jamie Murray reunited with Bruno Soares and Neal Skupski teaming up with John Millman. Johanna Konta is partnering her first round singles opponent Laura Siegemund n doubles.

There is coverage of the ATP matches on Amazon Prime Video and WTA matches on BT Sport with some late nights for us Brits.

ATP 500

The other ATP 500 event this week is in Dubai, following on from the WTA tournament there.

James Ward was knocked out in the first qualifying round. Andy Murray was due to play in Dubai before his surgery took priority.

Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram are fourth doubles seeds here.

ATP 250

There is an ATP 250 tournament in Brazil this week

Luke Bambridge and Jonny O’Mara are playing the Brazil Open which is  only available on Tennis TV, from Monday.



It’s the week before Indian Wells and there is a combined ATP Challenger and WTA 125 event taking place there ahead of the big tournament. Kyle Edmund, Dan Evans and Heather Watson are scheduled to play here.

Jay Clarke and Jan Choinski will be playing in Pau, France.
