Weeks 12-13 (w/c 18 Mar): Miami

The second half of the “sunshine double” gets underway on Tuesday, at a brand new venue in Miami.

Johanna Konta reached the fourth round in Miami last year, losing to Venus Williams.

ATP Masters 1000 and WTA Premier Mandatory

As in Indian Wells, the WTA main draw matches start first at the Miami Open.

Johanna Konta is again the only British player direct into the main draw. Heather Watson, Katie Boulter and Harriet Dart have been in qualifying over Monday and Tuesday.

Naomi Osaka is top seed here and Sloane Stephens will defend her 2018 title.

Onto the ATP draw, Kyle Edmund is seeded and Cameron Norrie also has a main draw spot. Dan Evans is joined by wildcard Jay Clarke in qualifying.

Last year’s Miami Open men’s draw was won by John Isner and this year’s is headed up by Novak Djokovic.

Doubles draws weren’t out at the time of writing.
