Here’s a look at this week’s tennis around the world

Hamburg

ATP 500, Amazon Prime Video

The big tournament this week is the Hamburg European Open, on clay – yes, clay.

Nikoloz Basilashvili won here last year and had to qualify this time round; Dominic Thiem is the top seed.

Amazon Prime Video has multi-court coverage.


Dan Evans is one of three Brits playing in Atlanta this week.

Atlanta

ATP 250

On the hard courts of Atlanta, John Isner is the top seed and defending champion.

Cameron Norrie and Dan Evans are playing here in singles and doubles, Norrie partnering Taylor Fritz and Dan Evans with Jordan Thompson. Dominic Inglot and Austin Krajicek are second seeds.

Coverage is on Tennis TV only, who have coverage from the quarter finals.


Gstaad

ATP 250, Amazon Prime Video

The Swiss Open in Gstaad is also played on clay.

Roberto Bautista Agut is the top seed, Matteo Berrettini did the double in singles and doubles last year.

Amazon Prime Video will have coverage of Centre Court matches all week.


Jurmala

WTA International, BT Sport

The brand new Baltic Open takes place in Jurmala, Latvia.

Jelena Ostapenko is the top seed. Naiktha Bains and Francesca Jones played in qualifying but did not come through to the main draw.

Jan Choinski is playing the Challenger in Prague.

Lloyd Glasspool got direct entry into the Binghamton, New York state, on his ITF ranking.

Emily Webley-Smith is to play the W80 tournament in Granby, Canada.

Katy Swan is to play in Ashland, Kentucky, which is a W60 event.


Wheelchair Tennis

The British Open takes place from Tuesday and can be watched on the BBC Sport website and app.
