The WTA tour is coming to an end while there are still precious points up for grabs on the ATP tour.

Vienna

ATP 500, Amazon Prime Video

Kyle Edmund will play the Erste Bank Open in Vienna this week.

Last year, Kevin Anderson won here but is currently out with a knee injury. The top seed is Austria’s home favourite Dominic Thiem.Ā Cameron NorrieĀ hopes to come through qualifying.

Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski won the doubles last year. Joe is now partnered with Rajeev Ram. Dominic InglotĀ and Austin Kraijcek are also here, andĀ Luke Bambridge partners Ben McLaughlin in doubles qualifying.

British number one Dan Evans reached the second round in Stockholm last week.

Basel

ATP 500, Amazon Prime Video

Dan EvansĀ could play defending champion and top seed Roger Federer in his hometown if he reaches the quarter finals of the Swiss Indoors at the St. Jakobshalle.

Jamie Murray and Neal Skupski are playing here. Jonny O’Mara and Robert Lindstedt lost in the first qualifying round. Dominic Inglot won here with Franko Skugor last year but Dominic is playing in Vienna this week.

WTA Elite Trophy, BT Sport

Johanna Konta qualified for the WTA Elite Trophy as one of the top 11 players not already qualified for next week’s WTA Finals, but withdrew with a knee injury.

Week 42 (w/c 13 October): Antwerp, Stockholm, Moscow, Luxembourg

It’s the final week of the regular WTA tour and all this week’s tournaments are on indoor hard courts.

Cameron Norrie reached the second round in Antwerp last year where he was beaten by Diego Schwartzman.

Antwerp

ATP 250, Amazon Prime Video

We start in Belgium at the European Open whereĀ Andy MurrayĀ and Cameron NorrieĀ will be flying the flag on Tuesday’s special “British Night”.

Kyle Edmund is the last Brit to have won a tournament at tour level, doing that here last year. This time round he made a late decision to play qualifying and lost in the first round. Last year’s runner-up Gael Monfils is the top seed.

Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram are the second seed in doubles, with Cameron Norrie partnering Kwon Soon-woo.

Coverage is on Amazon Prime Video of all centre court singles matches from Antwerp’s Lotto Arena. It’s also on Belgian television in Dutch, through VRT’s free Sporza channel from Wednesday.


Stockholm

ATP 250

The 50th edition of the Stockholm Open sees Dan Evans seeded 8th in a field headed up by Fabio Fognini. Stefanos Tsitsipas won here last year but is not defending his title.

Luke Bambridge andĀ Jonny O’MaraĀ hold the doubles title and both return with different partners. Bambridge is with Ben McLachlan of Japan, while O’Mara teams up withĀ Ken Skupski.Ā Dominic Inglot is also here with Austin Krajicek.

Centre court singles matches from the Kungliga tennishallen are only on Tennis TV, starting with Dan Evans v Bernard Tomic on Monday.


Moscow

ATP 250 and WTA Premier, BT Sport

The Kremlin Cup is a combined ATP and WTA event which this year moves from Moscow’s Olympic Stadium to a covered ice rink at the Ice Palace Krylatskoye.

Karen Khachanov is the top seed and defending champion in the ATP draw.Ā Jamie Murray and Neal SkupskiĀ are seeded second in the doubles.

The women’s event is bigger of the two draws. Elina Svitolina is the top seed and 2018 champion Daria Kasatkina returns.

Johanna Konta did enter Moscow but withdrew with an ongoing knee injury.

The ATP matches are only on Tennis TV, while BT Sport has coverage of WTA matches all week.

Eden Silva reached the second qualifying round of the BGL Luxembourg Open on Sunday. She will partner Naomi Broady in the doubles.

Julia Goerges is the defending champion and is seeded second behind Elise Mertens.
